Hi,
I totally understand where you want to get to.
Actually, I think the LED capability is limited to the colors you can choose from in the settings menu.
I use the app called Nine (email client for Exchange) that can set the Harlequin LED to any color by choosing that from a color histogram or color transtion circle (not sure which one, but imagine the colors of the rainbow).
Now when I choose an RGB combination other than the default colors supported, then it gets into a wild frenzy, ramping through the colors with the transition effect you would expect between the supported colors of the mobile.
So in theory it is possible I think, but...
What would be the benefit other than a cheesy color rotating indicator? I think not much.
Let's say, you get a text message, then a call, or vice versa, irrelevant. Would you check your text messages with higher attention than calls? I would check all reported events.
Of course, it is really convenient to know what to be prepared for, but if you wake up to check a call, then you are already there to check the text message, too.
Not sure if there is priority of calls over text messages or emails when it is about notification light. I hope so, never checked.
BTW, it could also be set in the menu which notification action bear more importance, so you would not stand up and check your mobile just because of some specific colors related to low importance cases.
E.g.: 1. Call, 2. Text, 3. Email, 4.- ... Other apps (in the amount of supported unique colors)
