Dark rear cam during videocalling

[size=40.8106px]Hi guys, I've been driving myself crazy trying to find a fix for this issue.. The rear cam works just fine when you use the stock app, the same if you take pictures in WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber etc..  and then the tragedy strikes.. videocalling.. The front cam works normal, it is bright in the right amount, then you reverse to the rear cam and the image gets dark, even if the environment doesn't lack light. Is there any way to fix the rear cam? It is really bugging me because I am videocalling a lot with my family..

You said that everything is OK on stock app.
So on which apps is this happening?  Did you tried Skype etc?
Please perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)

I performed a factory data reset as you suggested and it didn't fix it. The rear cam it is still very dark while videocalling.. Any other ideas? I appreciate your help!

Unfortunately, that seems to be the camera in its natural state, at least in my experience. With all the apps I use that utilise the camera, it goes one of two ways: either it looks fine brightness-wise because the app's cranked up the brightness at the cost of the framerate dropping to single digits, making it difficult to get an in-focus shot, or it's ridiculously dark but smooth. It's the one dark (no pun intended) spot on an otherwise good phone. It only seems to work fine when you've got direct sunlight around you.

It is really frustrating. I hope it will improve with android 7. The only available solution in an attempt to fix would be to root it, right?

Instagram, snapchat, Skype dark images and video transmission, whatsapp point is well. The Facebook Messenger even though the Internet connection at the top red bar indicates there is no connection. problem with mms. scary shit out of this software to collect time and dupe lose something properly
