Edited by mrwine at 2016-12-30 07:15 \n\nI'm really happy with my Umi Plus E.
My only issue is the camera is really bad, and with such an awesome screen it just looks even worse.
Here a few examples

I hope they will fix something...

Hi
First picture looks like be made in very low or without day light. A lot phones on the market ha ...

hi , pictures are very blurry ,even during the day light . The quality is not like in the picture on the website  , the camera is not fixed at all.The quality is FAR BELOW a normal 13 MP camera . And it does not record with a good quality, not 4k ,not 1080p nor 720p etc ... Is it possible to fix that ? Thanks to update or thanks to Android Nougat ?

Same things, compared with my OnePlus One... always blurry or overexposure.
Plus and Plus E both.

I'll wait for the Umi X to be released and look at ACTUAL photos, not the ones promoted or by some "reviewers"  that show photos that DO Not reflect the actual product. For the rest (apart from the WiFi issues  I have solved) I'm satisfied by the phone.

@mrwine the camera really is subpar, it looks worse than my 4 year old Nexus 4...

It's worse than my 3 year old Nexus 5, too, and that one was pretty bad at the time for a high-end phone. Something I've also noticed is in pretty much any app except Umi's own camera app, the rear camera is practically pitch black without the flash on, even in areas with normal amounts of lighting. And it only looks bright enough in Umi's camera app because by default, it cranks up the exposure and ends up lagging worse than a cheap webcam. It's diabolical. With the awful camera, some app notifications not coming through, the flip cover occasionally locking the phone when open, the S View window thing crashing and popping up the "Unfortunately, SmallWindow has stopped" error message every time I listen to music through Android Auto, I'm getting tempted to return my Plus E for a refund.

Hi
First picture looks like be made in very low or without day light. A lot phones on the market have this problem.
Second picture looks like be not focused correctly. Please use manual focus (sometimes you need change focusing place.
I understand your frustration but please check for updates as new update is available through to FOTA and for SPFT update.
Please look on this link and if you are familiar with SPFT please update

Unfortunately my hands are a little shaky, luckily I'm not a surgeon XD I found very difficult without a little stabilization system, but it seems OK once you get used to it.

I only can join in my predecessors, I'm sorry to say that but the UMI Plus E's camera is worse than the one of my Galaxy S3 Neo, which was a mid to low-end phone from 2014... You really need to fix the software for this camera because I just can't imagine it that it sucks so much. No matter how well I try to set up the light conditions it's always blurry, and when the light condition isn't so well, the image quality goes down rapidly. Otherwise it's a really solid phone and I like it, but taking pictures with it is no fun at all, so please try to improve it if possible.
