Turn off your super, then start it with the power button, when you see the umi logo press and hold volume up. With my super it doesn't start if I press power button and volume up that is why I do it this way and it works for me.
I had same problem with a non working trwp (touch was offset) somewhere in the thread on xda you can find another version that works (at least it worked with my super). Of course this is at your own risk.

Ok this what I understand you have ghost touches or inaccurate touches. To fix this problem you need update your phone to latest software. You have two options
If you have OTG Wire you can connect computer mouse and go to settings - about phone - wireless update - check for updates.
Or if you can't connect to Internet you can download OTA zip file from here
[size=32.3944px]http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5060-1-1.html
[size=45.2194px]on your computer and then transfer to phone memory then follow this instruction
Manual (local) OTA update method instructions
1. Copy the downloaded .zip file to either the internal memory or the SD card of your phone
2. Go to Settings --> About phone --> Wireless update
3. Tap the 3-dot menu button at the top right corner and select Local updates
4. Brows for the ...update.zip file and select it
5. Tap Install now, comfirm the process with OK and wait until the process will be finished
If you are good in SPFT (which I recommend)  update your phone to latest ROM  from here
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-5765-1-1.html
Here you can read basic information about SPFT updating procedure
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11-1-1.html
But you need skip 6 th step as you need check preloader box to overwrite partitions to get new tp driver.

I have used the TWRP_3.02_UMI_Super.img download and the latest ROM which is V3.02_20161121 firmware. Please could you provide me with some advice.

Hi

I have fixed the problem. I had to buy a USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect the mouse. With that I was able to swipe the front page to access the TWRP options to access Backup and Install. Funny enough once I had done that the touch screen was working. Now I don't need the mouse. Thank you for messaging me back and Happy New Year.
