Block contact/number

Is there really no way to block a contact (or a number) with this phone,  without resorting to 3rd party apps? ! ?

There might be a way unless you're using voice mail.

You have to create a new contact and add the number you want to block. Save that contact and re-open it for editing. Then bring up the extended menu (three dots in the upper right corner) and select "always send to voicemail". I tried this, my phone wont ring for a number i blocked this way and the number that is blocked gets a message "the person you are calling is not available at present" since I do have my voicemail disabled.

There is no "Always send to voice mail"  option on my phone,  just Delete,  Share and Put on start screen.

You have to go into editing mode for that contact first.

I would upload a picture but the umi forums wont let me.
