Hi there, I have just bought an Umi touch, I have a 32 SD card which I put in it.
I would like to have it so that when I take a photo, a video or anything else of that nature (eg, a piece of music I download from the Internet)
that it will automatically be saved on the SD card not the phone's inbuilt memory. At the moment I'm not having any luck.

Edited by saikee at 2016-9-1 17:23 \n\nI use a 200GB micro SDXC card and find it better to leave the photo's internal storage folder /DCIM as a temporary holding area. Periodically I move the files to the SD card which is the permanent personal storage that I can carry over from phone to phone.
In fact the SDXC card data is the same personal collection I keep in my PC which I periodically synchronize the data of my music, video, photos and documents collection.
Earlier versions of Android allow the user to move the data from internal storage to SD card but in the Version 6 this alternative is not clear.
