Google Setup Nearby Device - not working?

I'd tried to  restore from other Oneplus One (CandySix ROM) to Umi Super using <setup nearby device> and Umi Super would disconnect.

Anyone experiencing the same, with other phones/ROM to Umi Super?

Had to do a restore from my Google Account and even then had to abort the process and factory reset a couple of time before I managed a successful restore.

I can confirm, it does not Work.  I tried a restore from my UMI Touch with this method, but the connection stops immediately.
