Umi super problems

My fingerprint sensor is reading wrong fingerprints all the time. The device is thinking that it is reading my finger, but I'm not doing anything. Then it gives a message that I had to many attempts, so I have to wait 30 seconds. So my fingerprintreader is now unusable.


The gps doens't work properly, like someone else said here on the forum it can't get a stable gps signal in the app google maps.


The original camera app is really slow at the moment and the picture quality is really bad.
I hope you guy's can look into this and release an OTA soon

I have the same problem. However, I fixed the issue with a manual update again.

I had the same problem too but i FIGUERD IT OUT HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM!!

It's really simple:

1-> go to options;
2-> search for fingerprint
3-> add a new fingerprint
4-> when adding a new fingerprint there is an option to CALIBRATE the sensor. Click that option.
5-> calibrate the sensor (following the steps they give)
6-> and that's it

Dear user,

To rule out the possibility of an existing software error, I suggest you to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option in the flasher application. That process will completely rewrite the whole software content of your device. - You will lose your user data.

The camera performance/quality will be improved by later updates (the next one is expected in a few days) but your fingerprint sensor and GPS issues might be the results of a specific software issue, that won't be solved by a FOTA update but need to reflash the whole software content of your phone.

I had turned off Finger Print Scanner...But after latest update,i tried it again and feel its working alot better...So ive started using it again...Thanx Umi :-)

Hello. I have the same problem.Yesterday I received an update (11MB). After I installed it my Umi starts with strange behavior. While I do not touch the phone , it vibrates and  shows message on the screen "Too many attempts.." .  I tried restarting it but after several hours the problem comes again.

Before the update the phone works perfectly ! Thanks !

My girlfriend has the same problem with the fingerprint scanner.
Before the update it was a 100% functional.
Anybody know when the next update comes?
