Dear users,
I'm sorry to say that but this thread is really a dispute about a non-existing issue.
This phone contains a standard MediaTek MT6753 SoC also used in other millions of smartphones while the motherboard also has quite a standard design. Nothing can be badly built here.
The difference is that, while the plastic case of a usual smartphone insulates the dissipated heat of the CPU, UMI Touch's metallic case radiates it through. As a result, you may perceive your phone more hot while this process just keeps the processor cooler in fact.
Not just 75 C° but even 90 C° is absolutely affordable as a peak temperature of the CPU. Moreover, you never have to be afraid of over heating. If the CPU becomes over heated, it will automatically reduce its clock speed.
Here's a peak temperature comparison between UMI eMAX (plastic case and 1.7GHz MT6752 CPU) and Touch while running AnTuTu's stress test. That eMAX is in use for 11 months already and always worked perfectly.
Please note, the current version of CPU Monitor cannot recognize the max clock speed of UMI Touch well (shows 1500MHz instead of the real 1300MHz), so the percentage values are not correct.
