Touchscreen Broken

Hi everyone,
unfortunatelly I was going out from my car and my UMI Touch follow down on the floor. Now the screen has a cut on it and the touchscreen is not working anymore (the touchscreen keep some touches but not in the right location). I know it is not under the warranty (at least I guess) btw I would like to know if I can fix it by myself or if there is an official or unofficial office where I can send my phone in order to replace the touchscreen. May you have aslo an idea about how much it costs?

Dear Luca,

Spare parts for UMi Touch will be available later. you may try to negotiate with your reseller about repairing your phone. The cost of the replacement screen might be around $75 USD or much less if that's enough to replace the touch panel only.

Thank you very much for your help. Like I am living in Rome I think the replace office will ask me at least 70 dollars to repair it + 40 dollars for the parts + customs taxes so I will spend something close to 120 dollars that is more or less the price of the phone. Do you think, as I am a bit familiar, that I can fix it by myself? Thank you for your help.
Btw I think the phone has a Gorilla Glass in the front and a Touch Panel behind. I think I have broken both. The link that you send to me is for both? I am not very familiar with the definition of TP + LCD Display. Can you help me to understand?

Luca. I have changed displays in some Samsung Galaxy phones. It's not easy or simple but some Youtube videos helped a lot. It looks like the complete display is included so it will replace the glass, LCD and touch screen at the same time. Very satisfying to change the screen yourself even if it isn't the easiest job to do.

Hi Luca. I also broke my UMI TOUCH screen last week. I sent my phone to China for fix. My seller ( Geekbuying) told me to do factory repair and charge me $50.

Hi,
I bought my UMI Touch from Gearbest and I am trying to stay in contact with them but I have same problems. When you try to open a ticket request a login pop up is open and after you are logged in they will redirect you to the main page. The problem is that is a loop. Anytimes you try to open a ticket request they will ask you to sign up into the site even if you are already log on. Do you think I can send it to your reseller even if I didnt buy it there? How much did you pay to send your phone in China?

Dear Luca,

You can demand anything from only that reseller whom you paid originally. If you cannot communicate with them through their website, I suggest you to open a PayPal dispute and continue the communication via the PayPal system.
