Hi,
I have just got my UMI Touch.
I have upgraded it to Ver 3.03.

The issues I am having is that I cannot hear the other person voice on the earpiece. However, I can hear it on speaker.

Please let me know is that a software issue or hardware ?

How to resolve it ?

Best Regards
AJanes

Just received a brand new Umi Touch. Problem is that I can not hear anything from the ear speaker. During the call caller can hear me well. Also if I turn on speakers I can here ok but not from the ear speaker.
Phone is updated to the latest release. Tried with different sim card and also after a full reset. I can not find settings that will affect on this. Seems to me that it's broken.

Any advice ?

No, I cannot hear any music on earpiece. No sound of any time, neither ringing phone bell or tones from earpiece.

Cannot hear Voice neither any ring tones or bell going on other phone.
Extremely bad experience with UMI Touch.

Set the volume level while in call. If your earpiece is not muted but you still can't hear anything, then that speaker is probably damaged or has a bad connection to the motherboard. A such issue can't be really caused by a software bug. Your phone should be checked by a repairman or contact your reseller for a replacement.

P.s.: I put this demo pic for the sake of others, who didn't understand your issue.

Hi,

You have problems with the microphone, not with the earpiece. However, that's also might be a defection of the hardware: damaged or bad connecting mic.

Edited by matzioz at 2016-4-27 19:44 \n\nTry to go to engineer mode. Just call  *#*#3646633#*#*  (maybe this code will work) go two times to the right from Telephony to hardware and check the audio settings.

Those audio settings cannot get misaligned accidentaly and moreover, they have no effect on this model.
