Hi,
I just received a UMI Touch and love it but it seems I can only get it to connect to AT&T 2G network (Edge). Is there something I need to do? AT&T hasn't been much help. I am in Southern California, USA.
Thank you.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the 3G/4G frequencies used by AT&T are not supported by UMI Touch.

UMI Touch 3G: 900 / 2100 MHz
AT&T 3G: 850 / 1900 MHz

UMI Touch 4G: 800 / 1800/ 2600 MHz
AT&T 4G: 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 MHz

You can check it on the product page. http://www.umidigi.com/page-UMITouch_Specification.html

Thank you. Is there a way to add the correct APN to get to 3/4G?

That's not about the APN settings but about the capability of the built-in modem. Later when I get my Touch, I'll be able to check the exact list of the available frequencies and to discover whether something can be changed.

Thanks again, I appreciate the response. I guess I'll let it age like fine wine until I hear something further.
