This is the RockChip FactoryTool release of the
E_V1.0_20240226 system software
for UMIDIGI G1 Tab Kids

European version for EEA countries


Flash tool operation is recommended to experienced users only. If you are not yet an experienced flash tool user, please carefully read the RockChip FactoryTool tutorial before proceeding, and strictly follow each instruction.

Except if an authorized or responsible expert directly asked you to do that,
never format the flash chip of your device or you instantly lose your warranty!


UMIDIGI G1 Tab Kids receives all updates automatically via FOTA method. You need this tool only in case of emergency (if you've bricked your tablet), if you want to apply a clean install or if you want to clear all root access and custom recovery to make your tablet able to receive FOTA updates again. Moreover, flashing with an RCFT is the only option to repair (replace) damaged system software.

Kind request from users:
Please report any kind of new issues you experience after installing this update only if you've already flashed this ROM with a RockChip Flasher. In rare cases, a FOTA update can cause more or less serious malfunctions but that means only the update process went wrong, not a badly developed firmware. An updated stock ROM, especially related to the basic functions will not cause any new issues but will solve some of the existing ones.

Hi, i flashed this update because the original software was often stalling on a android booting message above the launcher background.

After flashing this the problem solved and device is much more responsive but....

GPS doesnt truly work even after enabling it, apps cant get GPS signals.
Bluetooth doesnt show my bth ear-phones, just my phone and mirascreen devices.

I was about to use this device as monitor for my new drone, but without GPS is impossibile to use it for that and without bth it loses many other uses for me.

This tablet has no built-in GPS, you can use only WiFi scanning for location services.
Please check out the official specs page, there's no GPS mentioned in the connectivity section.

You should check your tablet whether it can connect other bluetooth devices to see if your issue is related to one specific device or your tablet is not able to use its bluetooth connection at all. The debugging starts there.

With Beats pods it works, with all others bth audio devices not.

Then the bluetooth works properly. Reset the wifi and bluetooth settings, then try again.
