Hiya,
I got my UMI Touch this week, just been busy re-installing all my applications...
My Sky GO application and Barclays Application is not working, says my phone is rooted...
I don't want my phone rooted, can you advise how to fix? why would you sell a phone pre-rooted in the first place?

Hi Tich,

Earlier UMI models were factory rooted to make them compatible with the Rootjoy Windows app. However, UMI touch is not factory rooted since it gets its updates via FOTA method instead of Rootjoy. So, a UMI Touch running an unmodified factory firmware shouldn't be rooted.
Anyway, there's a guide provided by Sky to unroot your device if needed.
