Not that I doubt the validity of this ROM but, if it's the "official" one, shouldn't it be also available at Umidigi/RootJoy?

Don't install it I did it and it's completely unrealiable. I came back to V 3.03.
If you want to try be sure to make a backup in advance.

there is so much expectation to solve the problems of the phone or by umi or external developers ... that we install anything. the hope is not lost

The testing of the v3.04 version ROM is still in progress, the final version has not been released yet. That needrom user provides unofficial test versions, that are not created for the public. I asked UMI to investigate it, how such test versions can be leaked. I suggest you to not to download anything from there.

Totallly right. No matter how desperate we are, one thing is to install a few apps and mods here and there to compensate for the innate problems of the UMI Rome, another to install a ROM that if not carfeul, can brick our phone.

I have no new information about it. That's better to ask jo@jo1234. She's a new colleague at UMI. She works in the UMI office and is active here in the forum.
