Batteries are getting getting smaller and smaller, , having said that I am sure people would not mind a few extra mm in exchange for exceptional battery life and usability

@riffraff Batteries do no more get smaller and smaller, this is a chimic reaction, more polymer, more power, size is bigger

3.000 mAh like the eMax mini is just fine ! But the software should be optimized or just Android 6.0 ASOP (or CyanogenMod 13.0) to get a long lasting phone.
