UMIDIGI Z1 will go for 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM Pro version (Video)

After “the thinnest big battery flagship phone”, the UMIDIGI Z1 was announced yesterday, We continue to give out more information today about our latest flagship phone.

The UMIDIGI Z1 is planned to have a 6GB RAM capacity while the Z1 Pro version comes with an unexpectedly hefty 8GB of RAM. Apart from the specs and the hardware, what is widely concerned is of course the price. As a flagship device, the price of UMIDIGI Z1 is expected to be higher than our previous models.

According to our current plans, the 6GB RAM UMIDIGI Z1 will be sold with a $299 price tag, and it’s $499 for the 8GB RAM Z1 Pro.

Now you can find a subscription page on UMIDIGI’s official website for the UMIDIGI Z1 and Z1 Pro. There will also be 5 UMIDIGI Z1s available for Giveaway, so don't hesitate but take your chance to win one for free!

I think UMIDIGI is going a wrong way.
As a customer, I feel confused when every 3 months a new flagship is thrown onto the market.
Do you think I buy every of your smartphones?
Try to put a smartphone on the market that fulfills your promises.
With each new model there were problems and the announced features did not work or only partially.
I have no desire to be your beta tester.

So far, I was able to accept the difficulties halfway
because the smartphones were cheap and I believe that we can not expect more.

If UMIDIGI raises the prices it is no longer worthwhile to stay with this brand.
There are many other brands that have proven that they can build good smartphones and keep their promises.

I think umidigi can say goodbye to a lot of costumors, $499 for the pro even with 8 gig ram is way to expensive for a untrustworthy brand with still a lot of serious problems in alreddy existing latest models
I am afriad it will be a high specs phone that will not deliver like previous models
For $499 the`re will be a lot of alternative brands that alreaddy have proven themselves and does not have such serious problems as Umidigi has intill now, like the batetry of the umi Z, the solution is even more ridiculous, making a firmware to put a battery in te Z of a other phone that cost half of the flagships price, on top of that if you change the battery you will lose the warantee
buy the way 7 mm is not that thin so boasting that it is super thin is very exagerated
I think it is time that umidigi first have to prove they can make reliable phones and comes with normal solotions if problems occur
Umidigi is releasing one phone afther another and  it is very obvious thay they clearly don`t take the time to test they`re new product thoroughly before selling them an put them on the market ,personally i would never pay $499 for a brand like Umidigi
Obviously Umidigi is not doing enoug research and testing the phones properly before rolling them out and selling them.
It think is time umidigi has first prove they can make reliable phones without big issues before they can ask &499 for a class B phone .
Untill now umidigi never really delivered what they promised and think they are making a big mistake . Umidigi is forgetting that if ordering the phone i will have to pay 21 % tax plus custom fees and will cost me about $700 in total. For less money i can buy myself a class A phone like a samsung S8  a top phone, umidigi certainly is not and in my eyes till a C brand phone

UMIDIGI is pleased about 100.000 pre-ordered phones,
but overlooks how many customers are disappointed after receiving the device.
This low sales figure is not important on the smartphone market.
In the first quarter of 2017, Samsung has sold 79 million devices, Huawei 34 million, OPPO 26 million, Vivo 18 million.
Such sales figures can only be achieved through quality and customer satisfaction.

I agree with all their arguments, the only thing we see in UMIDIGI is that they are not considering all the problems with the latest phones like UMI Z, which came full of promises and turned out to be a big disappointment for many of their buyers.
And so instead of solving the problems continue to launch one phone after another, Umi C, G, Crystal and now the Z1.
Every manufacturer has its defects, the real differential is how they deal with it, but we all could see how it was dealt with the Umi Z battery problem....

I hesitated to post what i wrote ,i am glad other umidigi costumors are thinking te same way
If i had to spend in total with tax and costomfees $700 i would never be a Umiidigi Z1.
here in europe we have providers that sell a phone of $800 for half the price in combination with a 2 year
subcription  with unlimited 4G data and gsm and sms , only $40 a month for a phone 7 or samsung s8 and more top brands so read well including unlimided 4 4G data and phone use
When buyin a umidigi in total for $700 i will have to take a subcription om top of that and will cost at least $30 a month on top of that
on top of that we have 2 years of full warrantee in europe and if there are problems wit the phone you will get a brand new replacement wihtin one day.!!! try this with a umiidigi phone??
European costumors would be insane to buy a umidigi for $700 including all costs  for a questionable quality with a higher price as buyin a top brand like samsung s8 or even iphone 7 for less. including 2 years of unlimited 4 g date and gsm and sms for hole Europe!
i think umidigi is even insulting our intelligence
