Sensors disappeared????

For some reason the magnetometer and the gyroscope do not exist on my UMI SUPER all of a sudden? I have had a look using an MTK settings app to try and find the sensors, and also used apps like Google Sky, Stellarium, or several compass apps... but the sensors have basically disappeared? There is also no way to callibrate them! USually an app will tell you to turn the phone in an "8" movement to callibrate for compass, but they are not detecting any movement whatsoever.

Can anyone help me with this. What has happened and how do i get them back functioning????

Also i  have a screenshot here from the GPS Status app (paid version) which shows the gyroscope sensor working, but also says it's not detected and i cannot calibrate it??? The step counter also says it is not working, amongst other things like rotation and magnetometer.

I think this started with the upgrade to Android 7.

Well i just decided to do a factory data reset.... huge inconvenience, but sensors seem to be working now.

I've had this same problem happen again out of the blue... and i do not want to factory reset my device again. Does anyone else get this problem? It becomes impossible to calibrate the compass, rendering any gps application (google maps) where direction is needed to rotate the map as useless.

Is there any solution to fix this? Surely i must not be the only one getting this?

I have also followed the rooting instructions to install TWRP and SuperSU. Hoping to be able to find any system config related to the magnetometer, assuming i can reset it manually. And i have another problem.

I'm posting here, because i cannot for some reason start new threads anymore... Basically, after flashing TWRP to the recovery, i encrypted my phone. Now i cannot get back into TWRP, as it does not recognize my pattern or pin to decrypt the data. How can i solve this.

Too many problems that should not be present... and now the forums with relevant posts to report these things are being locked, and people cannot start new threads? What is going on? Has UMI abandoned this device? There's also no stock rom updates since 7.1 now.
