Ok, I don't think I get your reply... I paid full price for the phone so I expect it to be fully functional. Period! To go around flashing a phone one needs knowledge, time and be ready to deal with an out of warranty brick. And I also don't see why I should be told to buy an 800€ phone to see my problems go away. Plus, I did no more to the phone that what the menus on the phone allow for, so I don't see how my problems are self inflicted. What is your explanation for the alarms not sounding unless the phone is on and one actually goes into the clock app (tried 2 different apps). If you tell me which ones are self inflicted I will gladly revert whatever I did (using the MENUS and NOT going around messing with my phone).
My system is out of the box + automatic OTA update received the first day I used it. If the software does not work properly it's not my fault and I should not be liable to try and fix this, not on a brand new phone. My 199€ Nexus 4 (when bought new from google) never had any major issues like this one and very frequent updates were pushed to fix minor annoyances. So, again, I don't see your point about paying 800€ to get a phone that functions the way it's supposed to... Umidigi are now pushing out new models faster than bamboo grows and it won't be long until their flagship is deemed "old" and they abandon all support... that's my 2 cents on that. |
