I tested and it works for me.
The solution for jumping gps was for me to use only gps fpr positioning.
No mobile, no wlan positioning.

I have the gps jump issue and the "only gps positioning" NOT solve my jump problem.
Maybe there is also a compass issue, because moving the phone using gps there is spot (random) speed error....
I have tested it few times: ad 100km/h in constant speed, random jump to 130-140 km/h
Checked also when i am still (speed 0 km/h)...sometimes hammer says speed 5 km/h then retourn to 0....and the gps position jump appear when there is speed error.

You exatly discribe the behaviour i had before antennamod and setting changes.
I use HERE or Navigator for navigaton and both will tell you if compasscalibration is needed.

Can anyone who did the antennamod please describe how to do it and what material should be used? I tried very thin self adhensive aluminum foil with a similar shape as shown on the needrom page. But it didn't get any better or even worse. I also tried usual aluminum foil with no measureable improvement. I tried with connecting the original antenna and the home made one and without.

Could you confirm with a GPS measure app like "GPS test" that the signal did really get stronger due to the antennamod?

I have two Umi Hammer phones, both get a signal but it's weak most of the time and often gets lost. One of the phones has much better signal than the other. But still not comparable with other phones.

Umi Hammer GPS is really bad. When I compare to friends who use Samsung, Huawei or Apple devices the difference is immense. They even get a very good signal in the forest, in buildings and on the train. Impossible with Umi Hammer.
