Front facing speaker

Hey guys, my front speaker is not working. Is there a way of fixing it or do i have to return it?
Im using the umi iron.

Hi mikoko,

Just to make it clear, your problem is about the earpiece that you use in normal phone callings, isn't it? Have you received your phone with this issue, or it was working normally for a while? If you haven't muted your speaker accidentally, that's more likely a hardware defection rather than a software malfunction. That earpiece is a cheap spare part but needs a repairman to be replaced.

Yes the phone came defective.
