Hi,

My problem is that my network provider defaults the Caller ID to be hidden, though I'd prefer to show it, when I call someone.

I have changed this setting in my UMI Z several times in Call > Settings  > Calling accounts >  <account> > Additional Settings > Caller ID, but it always resets to "Use network provider's default", whenever I reset/poweroff my phone.

It's annoying to not to forget to always change it back.
I've read the forum and found a similar issue, but without resolution, so I decided to start a new topic. Any suggestion/help is welcome.

Dear András,

You are a TELEKOM user since only they have this strange setting as default. Since it's a service provider dependent setting (not stored on the phone), it can be a temporary setting or on many phones this setting is simply missing. However, you can call the customer service of your carrier to change this setting. So, please call 1430 and choose 3 - 3 - 4 - 1 or you can follow the instructions in the video below to change your setting with USSD codes.
