No rotation issues on my phone with this update.
Same heavy battery drain (in standby)  as always...
I'm hoping for a great doze mode in Android 7

My Z looses only 0.8 % per hour battery when in standby. WiFi and Bluetooth are always on. I only have to deactivate VoLTE. This solved the battery drain for me.

depends also really how good the WIFI signal is, My Wifi-router is one floor underneath the bed room --> Wifi took a little bit more battery.
Now i installed a range extender on the floor with the bed room --> good battery life.

The one and only thing is to get rid of WIFI displays in the battery statics as always on:
Go to WIFI setup --> 3 dots in the upper right corner --> advanced --> WIFI in Suspend mode --> change to never or to "when connected"
that is the normal way on Android 6....

Comments

"when connected" option saves additional 2mA in standby mode (measured using Aida64).  Post time 2017-4-20 20:20

Yepp.. 2mA plus or not,,, that is here the question..
but the WIFI is in the battery overview then really turned off... some guys want to have that.

5.5% less consumption. There are still other possibilities as well but UMIDIGI simply does not care.  Post time 2017-4-20 21:16
