App notifications

I use WhatsApp and Viber. I am not getting message notifications until i open the app. My settings are correct and default and i haven't had any problems with other phones Inc umi plus e.
Just this phone seems to have an issue. I am not taking about the message unread message count, although that would be a great update.
If somebody send me a message via Viber i don't know until i open the ap.

Please go to settings - background task clear - and add apps to the white list,or simply deactivate background task clear.

i did a factory reset and it fixed the issue
