UMI Diamond wont make calls unless am close to the carrier

i own a umi diamond an i cant make calls on it i am from saint lucia an it dosnt make calls from my lime sim card in sim one (1) only makes calls on the digicel sim card in sim (2) what could i do to have this issue fixed when i dial *120# on sim one it says connection invalid mmi code how do i solve an fix this

the only way it works only when am close to lime the carrier when am home it wont some times it will an it has full bars only digicel sim work what do i do help please

Hi
Please remove both sim cards and perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset).
Then put only one sim card in to phone and test. If all is fine please swap sim card and test again.
Did you test this sim card which is not working in different phone?

yes i did an its works fine in all just works sometimes in my umi diamond

Please go to settings - about phone - status - IMEI informations and compare this numbers to number from box. Also you can use SN writer to change IMEI number in case network carrier picking incorrectly your IMEI numbers.

Of course you can try flash your phone with SPFT to latest available firmware or to refresh system.

I do have the same problem. Though it shows bars and 3G or 4G connection at times I can not make any calls.
The same SIM works perfectly in other UMI phone. The Diamond is brand new and I did not mess with it.
I tried more than one SIM card, though from the same carrier. Seems like a problem with transceiver.
I did update the software to 7.0 and it does not help.

Same problem. Very week connection to cellular network. Unable to make calls. Upgrade to 7.0 ROM did not help.

Eu sou como o mesmo problema. Eu não posso fazer chamadas usando a rede celular do operador Tim Brasil, mas com a rede celular da operadora Oi Brasil posso fazer chamadas.
