Umi plus E 4G problem

hello friends,

I am the happy owner of a Umi plus E (received two monthes ago).
Everythink's working fine  .... exept two problems:
- When using 2 sim cards, If Sim card 2 is not activated, i can get 4G with Sim card 1 - But if SIm card 2 is activated, I only get 3G on sim card 1 (and Sim card 2) -> I'm in France and my provider for both sim cards is Orange (Pro and World). Does anybody has the same problem?
- Using umi leather cover case: from time to time, the phone freeze: the digital clock appears in the window but it's impossible to unlock the phone with fingerprint (and impossible to get pin code screen)  - The only solution is to press the  shutdown button and to reboot

=> i've downloaded last rom update but infortunatly the two problems are not solved.

Where / How did you manage to get a UMI Plus E (in France?) two month ago??
I had (pre)ordered mine last december, as they were not available for delivery yet, and I only received
it last week (end of February), as they were not available before that!

As for the 4G, I have no problem with it at all, with both SIMS activated.

Hi, I'm from France too, and I got my Umi Plus E end of December. I ordrered it as soon as presales started through Efox, and everything went fine.
As for the phone itself, I was a bit scared reading all issues regarding GPS, photos etc.
From my experience, GPS is working flawless, fast and stable.
Photos...well I miss my Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) which was not perfet but still much better than Umi Plus E. I was expecting much better from Umi's advertisement and trailers. Im clearly disapointed on this specific point.
For everything else, considering I got it for 187€ (plus 31€ custom fees) it's perfectly satisfying.

About the 4G issue, both sims activated (free network), no issue....

Hi,
I also ordrered it as soon as presales started at the end of november (Banggod) and everything went fine.
I've not tried a factory reset yet -> don(t want to have to reinstall all my aps.

Re: Having to re-install all your apps:
Whenever I change phone (or have to do a reset), I get all my Apps (and most data) reinstalled
back automatically right from my Google Account.
(Just make sure all you need to ack up is selected in your Google Account, and you do a complete
Sync before anything else)
I also make sure I backed up my Whatsapp data, SMS messages, Call history, etc, prior
to change/reset.

Therefore, I only have to tweek the Settings / Re-Set Up my prefered apps & Widgets, and voilà:
No need to reinstall everything.

Doesn't this work for you?
