UMI Super 4g No Sound

Hi, I just got my Umi Super 4g today and there's no sound coming out of the loudspeaker

I've checked every settings and tried with various media (video/music/calls etc) and nothing, not even crackling it's just dead.
Since I bought it from china and it took 2 weeks to get here, I was hoping it was a bad connection so i carefully opened it and nothing looks wrong, i cleaned the connections but still nothing.
I tried with another speaker I salvaged from an old phone but still no sound (the speaker might be dead tho, I can't check).
I also looked online for a replacement speaker but the only one I found : http://vifocal.com/loud-speaker-buzzer-ringer-replacement-for-umi-super-smartphone.html is different ! Mine have the two pins on the top, not on the side.

Now i'm stuck with a phone without sound and I could send it back to replace it but it's my only phone ! And 4weeks or more without a phone (time to ship it back + getting another one) isn't really an option.
You guys have any idea ?
edit : I forgot, sound works fine through the earpiece and headphones

Worst case scenario, I'm stuck with a phone that I need to fix. Any ideas on where I could get the proper replacement part? And/or the specs of the original loudspeaker so I could make my own fix ? I've looked for the number part online but nothing came up.

But to be honest I've worked in an apple repair shop for 10 years, if apple can't spot my repairs, I'm sure it will be fine : )
And remember, they fucked it up first by sending a malfunctioning product if anything I'm saving them some money.
To be clear I don't blame UMI, that kind of things happens, I just need a working phone right now and can't wait for a month, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should firstly flash your phone with SPFT to  android 6.0 firmware from here

Thanks for the links and help but I don't know why it just started working today. I left it to charge on my desk and it just rang when someone called me!
It now works perfectly fine as far as I can tell. I updated to android 7 yesterday but it didn't help.
I'm completely clueless as to why but now I know it's not hardware related at least!
I'll let you know if it keeps working.

hi, the sound just stopped on my umi super while watch youtube. still have sound out of headphone jack. I tried a factory reset and still have same problem. is there anyway to check if this is a hardware or software problem.

If you wipe the phone completely and do a full ROM flash using the SPFT tool (see the ROM section of the forum) and the problem persists, it's most likely a hardware problem.
