Some questions, Focus, battery, etc..

I'm new here and have received my UMI Z 4 days ago.



I have no real issues like other explains.



First the good things:

+ perfect design

+ 4G is stable

+ battery life is good



middle:

+- finger print sensor could be better

+- focus on camera is ok, could be faster

+- sporadic the system seems to have a stall/micro seconds



bad:

- nothing so far, maybe only: charging can take very long, big battery :-)





My questions:





Why is WLAn and Sleeping mode(Ruhezustand) on top? should be on the last in that listing

SoT time is still good, system is in "Ruhezustand" cold an responsive



App permission managment is always showing, can only hidden when it is disabled --> that i also don't want to do --> solution?



I have a Garmin fitness tracker connected via BT, so if i'm in range of it, the UMI is unlocked via SMART-lock, nice, but the fingerprint sensor still need to notice the fingerprint correctly to awake the system --> would be nice, if the Sensor is checking if SmartLock is enabled --> then it is only reacting like the on/off button.



The Power saving mode(automatic) is nice, but f.e. if i have set it to 11pm, and I noticed at 11:30pm to check shortly mails, i have to disable the setting completly --> would be nice to have it then temporarly disabled until next locking/screen off



Camera focus: have no difference between Laser focus on or off --> same time for focus, not really clear

Camera colors: too much lollipop color, in PRO mode, nice to adjust, but Camera app is not keeping the settings-

Camera APP: ver tricky to change the modes(video, picture, etc)

Camera APP: what is the ZSD mode?



So far it is enough.

Hopefully UMI becomes so inovative like OnePlus. My OnePlus One will be old because of the UMI Z :-)

The engineers can maybe take a look to CM/LineageOS, for some nice features!

Beside that: i really like the "Z" cover, where to buy?

The current UMI ROM seems to be a bit rough around the edges. Other users reported similar problems including camera focus, picture quality, occasional performance drops etc. We hope UMI will adress these issues in the future with software updates.
