3G 4G connetion, what does the R mean?

does anyone kow what the litte 4g stands for?

what does the litte 4G stand? my 4G connection was actually pretty good but suddenly it switched to 3G / E

often i get 3g but then with the litte R, does this stand for roaming?

most of the time i get 3G or E but then with a little R does this stand for roaming?


i have to switch in the settings to my network (4G) but after some time it switches back to 3G i dont know why.
if i turn my wifi off it switches from 4G to E and them to 3G and when i turn wifi back on it switches back to 4G.

how can i keep my network on 4G?
