Umi Iron Microphone problem

Hi,

By brand new UMI Iron arrived today, and microphone during calls has problems. The sound is mumbling and realy low, people have hard time to hear me.
I have v1.6 software verison. Sound recording is great, calls are the problem.
Please help me fix this.

I have the same issue.

I just installed V1.6 ROM and is does not make a difference in comparison of V1.5

Please release a quick fix

I'm sorry to hear that you both have issues with the call quality.

Have you tried to record something?
..and if you did. What was the result?

Recording was perfect. Stock recording app was excellent, Skype calls also.
Viber and both sim card calls are terrible.

Hi povitez. I apologise for asking you that question as I just noticed that you had already mentioned that.
I am going to escalate this to UMI as there have been a number of people raising the same issue. Although it is only a small minority of users who have this issue it could be something that we can resolve.

I am going to close this thread but please keep an eye on this thread here  for any further discussions and updates.
