They are uploading the ROM in the thread right now, as well as the flashable ROM as a ROM for local OTA update

None of this is life or death, but it comes down to "does my product work as it should"? If the answer is no then users have every right to be frustrated.
My "mobile phone" drops connectivity when moving faster than 40km/h and struggles to connect to Bluetooth devices. Given a phone's primary purpose is to connect to things, that's a big fail.
Umi have previously said on the forum that the OS is the culprit which I doubt a lot, but given I don't see any newer firmware updates I jumped at the chance for a newer OS to see if that makes my phone usable when I'm not stationary.

agreed, for my money, while not supporting some of the more extreme rants against umi on this forum, there are one or two apologists for Umi burying their head in the sand, its clear from the delay since christmas eve that they must have known weeks in advance they were not going to make that deadline but utterly ignored keeping users informed

and while difficult to quantify it also seems obvious to me they have a serious quality control issue if they are looking to expand more formally into the western market, simply to many persistent problems across key functionalities on their phones, neither is it clear if this comes down to the software or hardware

i have seen this phone up for sale at £174 on one of the chinese sites, if you factor in what seems a high liklihood of getting a malfunctioning phone across one or more of its key functionalities that seems very overpriced to me, simply a risk not worth taking

if Umi can sort this out with the 7 upgrade i might revise my opinion, especially if they can improve their user communication, somehow i doubt it

I sent the IMEI concerning the other SIM slot that is not in use. Is it a problem? Should I remove the SD card and put the SIM there?
When will the updates be pushed?

They already uploaded the OTA and spft for  nought ROM. Try from the link in ROM section .

Some of us do speak Russian, although with varying degrees of pleasure, as the person in question uses somewhat less than Oxford-level idiomatic expressions.

Back to the subject at hand: it has been two glorious weeks of waiting for the promised OTA update, with no such thing having been delivered. I would no doubt enjoy two more weeks of waiting if not for the unfortunate circumstance of some major apps not working with Adroid 6 on this phone, namely Facebook and Kindle, the last one being of critical importance to me.

Kindly, Chinese New Year notwithstanding, and my congratulations in place, do send the OTA 7.0 update.
