Umi Plus E - Charging Issue

\n\nI bought this phone for my little brother, i used the phone for a couple of dayz, though i was charging it with Lumia 950XL fast charger and i have no problem, but after sending the phone over to my brother, he said the phone is taking ages to charge.

possible problem:
1. could be a bad USB Type-C cable ( reason, because i face the same similar problem with samsung Galaxy S6 Charger until i change the cable)
2. Could be a software problem ( but how come i didn't have any problem when i use the official Lumia 950XL charger)

Anyone facing this problem should try another usb type-c Charger, and please let me know if that help.

Hi I just wondering how and why you used Lumia 950 xl charger for your UMi Plus E. Did you try damage battery or what!?  As you know Lumia 950 xl is using qualccomm chip and qualccomm charger so this system shouldn't be used for Mtk chip especially with pump express charging system.
Maybe your brother got FOTA update or some bug in system or already you damage Mtk charging system in your new umi plus E

\n\nWell charging Umi Plus E with another fast charger will not brick the phone as have claim, I know what am doing, my galaxy s6 and s7 I still use Nexus 6 fast charger, nexus is snapdragon and samsung exynos. Like I said earlier it could be the cable, for your information am not the only one experiencing same problem. In another post the person said he use official umi plus e charger.

I was having a similar problem and yesterday changed the cable for a magnetic type, still using the Umi charger. Charging now working fine!

Great! that's eaxctly what I told my brother, Problem solved now, i know this because it once happened to my Samsung Galaxy S6 fast charging, until i changed the cable, before everything works fine.
