After updating to the latest firmware, my Umi Plus E keeps dropping from the WiFi. It seems connected but it actually doesn't work and I have to activate and deactivate WiFi from the phone... The problem is I have to keep doing it every 10-15 minutes.
There are maybe some power options I don't know about? It was working OK before updating.
Thanks.

Please restart your router, delete and set WiFi again on your device.
If you using more devices in same time please switch off all devices and check your phone again. If all is working fine probably between two devices is some complication as same IP or Mac address.
Of course after updating we always recommending perform factory reset (settings - backup and reset - factory data reset)

You can go to settings - wi-fi - switch on wi-fi - top right corner three dots - advanced - keep wi-fi on during sleep - always
And check battery saving settings
Settings - battery saving mode - battery profiles - my mode

I've solved it in another way: it seems it's a bug, I had to manually set the frequency of my WiFi to "only 2.4 Ghz" or "only 5 Ghz". It seems the phone has issues connecting to the router if set to automatic.
I had already done what you wrote before finding this workaround.

I confirm it works better with "only 2.4 Ghz". It seems there's some WiFi bug in the latest update.

I have the same problem but I can't fix it with your solutions. In your opinion, update to Android 7, can help me?

Hi MarcinP,
I have already done:
- Smartphone Reset
- 2,4 ghz
- Battery mode

Wifi keeps connected only for few minutes. Then it seems connected but instead there isn't connection. If I switch off and switch on WIFI the smartphone don't hang up the wifi network. If i restart the smartphone it will start again with the same situation that i have described before.
(by the way I also have problems with the 3/4 g connection, the signal comes and goes. But even this is a known problem on the forum ...)
