UMI MAX VERISON 20160810 UPDATE BUG

So the FOTA update doesn't work on this version from what I've read in the other posts and I can't seem to get my head around using the spft tool to flash my phone, I'm never able to do it since I cannot get my phone into the mode it needs to be in to get it flashed, if someone could give me a guide on how to or a rom which I can install from the recovery menu which I am able to get Intl I would be forever greatfull I really love this phone and I just want to be able to used that new camera app and get better touch sensivity its all that I want
