The charger probably shorted out your device..  UMI doesn't have customer service.. They tell you to go to the seller.  Their not like the other companies..  Far from it.

Saying that my cable has broken on the sheath by the USB plug..  The glue.

So no point in complaining here then.... Back to the stalling and avoiding seller.... Takes over a week to get anywhere. His first tip when I told him my phone was dead was to download a new rom to the phone...

Did you try use other usb cable?
Did you phone just discharged and then switched off or just switched off with some battery level left?
If you usb cable is fine try use computer to check is your device visible for computer and if is OK try update your device to latest software.
As the USB type c is very hard to get I bought already one spare, one usb b to c adapter,  otg wire, and charger tester.

already tried connecting it to the pc. nothing. it's stone dead
