I just received it.
I powered it on right out of the box the screen seems to operate (few light) and doesnt show anything on screen.
I pluged it to the power the circle was red. Now its green. I unplugged.
I power it up and doesnt open up. I get a vibration a quick sound and the circle flashes like it loads something but nothing on the screen.

I tryied to hard reset it Power off (the screen was full dark and the circle off) hold both volume keys for way long but nothing happened.

Any suggestions please?

I just plugged it to my laptop and it recognizes it as UMI Super and I can see the internal memory.

Edit: If it helps the phone after the vibration and the sound as like opening, the down middle lighted circle is slowly dimming on and off constatly. It's like that for hours. If I press the power button the screen lights up and if I press again lights out but doesn't display anything.

Is there a way if I connect it to the pc to hard reset it?

Anyone guys?

Hi
There is three options.
1. Faulty screen
2. Poor contact screen/motherboard
3. Software issues (but as you say phone is switching on, charging is working and power button is operating too  so probably is hardware issue)
Firstly try SPFT and update to latest software. Or contact to seller and inform as DOA (death on arrival) in this case time is very important and maybe you no need pay for shipping one way.

Thank you I flashed the new ROM but still the same. The screen doesn't show up anything at all besides some dim light.
clicks are heard and it even said at some point continue touching the screen...
I will have to return it after all.

But don't say to seller that you flash ROM as they don't accept phone for warranty return. UMI is OK for flashing but not sellers.

Well Seller can't find out since the screen is not operational. Secondly even though the seller can't do anything cause it's an official rom. So he is not allowed to say anything. He must return the product to the product maker to say if something is wrong or out of warranty.
I don't think Gearbest is a certified tech center of UMI products.

The thing is I don't see any UMI representative replying.

And the worst might be that I will have to wait another 30 days to receive a replacement.

If you read carefully sellers warranty rules a specially Gearbest.com you see that any updates fail warranty  to seller so then you need send phone to umi but umi will say  that you need send to seller.
They just need check what was happened with product.
Gearbest.com by my opinion is the best for solving issues like that.
With Chines brands /sellers/products main problem is time as anything happens to product sending cost is high or impossible as some post office wont take phones as battery is inside and minimum time is 30 days.

The phone automatically switched off when 30% charged. Then I put charja but did not react at all. And still closed. Charged off for 16 hours. It never opens.

Hi
How long have your phone?
Did you root your device?
Did you ever updated your device?
Did you try use different charger and different USB wire?
Is there red circuit light coming on when you charging phone?
