No data connection for internet connection

Very frustrated!  Just got my phone and it looks wonderful.  I have been able to connect to the internet with my Wi-FI.  Set up my At&T data connection and nothing.  Took it to the AT&T store and they were not able to help after trying for almost an hour.  Is there anything I can do interms of setup?  I am in the United States.

Did you check is your phone support your network frequency?
If support just one frequency 3g or 4g I would advice you to change in setting use only this frequency. (settings - more - mobile network - preferred network type)
Then add manually apn adres of your network in to your phone (settings - more - mobile network - access point - touch +)
If you using third-party network you need activated roaming data on your device ( settings-more-mobile network - data roaming)

Hello Buddy iseoane, I give you the following tips:

- Check out the frequencies of your mobile provider and its availability and compatibility Cell
- The latest firmware update from mobile phones (there are 2 upgrades)
- If you use a SIM card from your service provider's (SIM2), and the other is a Micro SD card, you must set the SD card as primary storage or set to add to internal memory of the phone, because if you do not not allow you to place them APN (Moblie Provider DATA / Internet connetion settings) to the existing SIM card.
- You must then place in the configuration of the SIM cards, which will be chossen preference for your SIM (DATA, Telefonia, Activation Data) Service

and this should solve your problem (WORK FOR ME), as I'm sure AT & T has 3G and 4G LTE frequencies, using this excellent mobile PLUS.

Thank you!  I was able to start using the data.  It does not connect in a 4G. Under ther APN continues to change by itself to "cingular" and I have to go back to change it.  Does not give me option to delete it.  ???

I have tried to download MMS but no luck.  Umi does not have all the general settings that AT&t indicates as steps.  It just said is "downloading" and no results.   Any ideas?
