Original smart sleep flip cover doesn't work

Hi everybody,

I bought the original smart sleep flip cover and it doesn't light on or off the screen...

As many of you report issues with latest firmware, I'm still on 20160708...

Am I alone?

I'm probably wrong in this, but my assumption about the flip case, I have one and it works great, is that the on/off is activated by a magnotometer as my cas has some kind of magnet positioned roughly top quarter hard right side as you look at the opened flip part, (if thats not clear happy to attach a piccy if it helps anybody?)

Thanks guys,

As I said, I prefer to stay on 20160708 firmware due to the laggyness some encounters with latest one.

A new FOTA is annonced for in a few days, will see then.

Sorry, not sure what your after here, I have done nothing to any settings to use the flip cover?

I have just received an original Super Case and it now works as advertised.
The problem was a lookalike generic case, it just didn't work despite having it's magnet in exactly the same place as the original.
Happy now.

Just noticed that the cover works if the phone is placed on a metal surface...
