Thanks for the suggestion.
The phone is up to date.
I'm just giving up and will use the Finger print sensor.
It works 9 out of 10.

Did you end up getting thois solved? I just bought the UMI Super and UMI Smartcover from banggood and the cover won't power the phone on opening either :-(
