Sorry but I was on holiday and just coming back to work nowadays. These TCL batteries are pretty good quality ones but as I wrote in my first reply, a defective charger (both car and wall) can damage both the battery and the charging circuits on the motherboard. Unfortunately a such phone is non-repairable since that doesn't make sense to replace the whole motherboard due to its too high costs.
In a such case your phone is covered by warranty if the defection is caused by the stock charger, not a separately bought and non-UMi one. I suggest you to tell the reseller, your device seems to be non-repairable and you should send it back for a replacement. That's a question why they sign they reply as "UMI DIGI"
For DanMIL: I'm afraid there's no help if you didn't care about the warranty when you made your purchase.
