i have umi rome half years and most problem of it is black screen after rebooting, many times to me helped just to put in refreginerator and after hour to turn it on if not turning again in refrigenerator for about 10 min and repeat until it turns on. but now it wount turnig on...
other big problem after playing game the game starting to lag (playing on pc from phone) when its hot and after it chills little all everything ok again....
so in my opinion all screens problem begins from overheating chip...
how to fix overheat problem and turn on my phone again ?
You can resolder (reball) a BGA chip with hot air, not with a soldering iron but I hope you don't want to do it by yourself. Little chance to be successful.
I suggest you to contact your reseller for a replacement rather than trying to mend your phone by your own.
