Hello...

Still looks this is more dead then JESUS!

Even Jesus resurected from the dead!
Guess UMI support doesn´t do that miracle...

How come still no news to your flagship phone?

I don´t get it... is UMI a 10 person company?

Best Regards,

LPC

Please describe how your touch screen got dead. If that happened due to a factory defect (it would  ...

The device touchscreen went unusable from one day to the other without any influence/new installs etc. on the phone.
The touchscreen now is almost uncontrollable and behavious somehow weird and opens/closes Apps, pull down notification drawer etc.
I tried to reinstall, any of the currently available ROM's, via complete fresh install and as soon as Android is starting and initially setupt the touchscreen starts to behave like this again.

It doesn't seem to be only my device because if you look around in this froum a couple of people got hit with this issue:

I want some help here, is this too much? Please provide me your postal address and I will ship the phone to yourself so you can try if you can get it working. I don't really believe it's a hardware issue as first boot works and I can get easily up2 setting up my Gmail account but then the touchscreen starts it's own thing.

Dear gessi,

It's really not only you but 6 other users as well (one user in the list broke his screen, so that's not relevant) out of some ten thousands.
I tell you after repairing some hundreds of pieces of smartphones over 6 years, it's almost suerly a hardware defection. If flashing with SP Flash Tool (Firmware Upgrade) doesn't change anything, you can be perfectly sure.
While we apologize for your inconvenience, we sincerely ask you to contact your reseller for a replacement. A defective touch screen digitizer cannot be repaired but replaced only. Your reseller have to replace your phone for free in warranty.

Regards,
Bence

The reseller, e-fox shop, told me that there is no warranty after 15days anymore so I have no luck.
They also say I can ship them the device so they can repair... hahaha
Additionally they think it's a software issue.

You are very positive about the UMI hardware... I am not ;-) Switched to Oneplus 3 now and happy.

Why don't you pickup this issue?

More and more users reporting same and you are talking around the reality here?

I think it's time to deliver a proper working phone or not?

"e-fox shop, told me that there is no warranty after 15days anymore"
Sorry but if you believe that, I can't help you. 15 days can be the money back guarantee (if you're not satisfied with your purchase) but the warranty period (for the cases of factory defections) must be at least 12 months.
