Umi eMax Mini + Selfie Stick

Hello everyone!

I just received a selfie stick and I wanted to use it, I have an Umi eMax Mini with UMI eMAX mini_001_10/23/2015 software version (if it matters) but I can't get it to work.

I connect it, the phone recognizes it, but when I open the camera and push the camera button on the selfie stick, nothing happens.

I noticed that after a while I don't have to manually open the camera but if I press the camera button on the selfie stick, it automatically opens the camera but won't take a picture.

Is is that this model is not compatible with selfie sticks or do I have to make a software update?

  From UMI they told me I had to upgrade to the latest version.
  And actualize it was the same.
  I put the root, delete the apk carrying the camera installed and you install the apk from Google-compatible camera.
  And it works perfectly.

A mi me daba tambien problemas con el palo de selfie.
Desde UMI me dijeron que tenia que actualizar a la ultima version.
Lo actualize y seguia igual.
Le meti el root, elimine la apk de la camara que lleva instalada y le instale la apk de la camara de Google compatible.
Y funciona perfectamente.

In the meantime I did some research and managed to find out that I only had to download an app named 'SelfiShop Camera' to use the stick.

It's working perfectly now!
