Helloe bencebacsi,

I apologize for being unaware of the fact that you are a representitive of UMI. :-) At the same time I'd like to thank you for at least acknowleding the issue.

I'd love to exchange my device for a new one, but they're sold out on Amazon DE (the retailer I bought it from). That means I now have three options: a) return the phone and get my money back b) send the phone to UMI in China and wait for a replacement (which would take 3-4 weeks at least), leaving me without a phone in the meantime c) ignore the issue, keep the phone and rely on my two years of warranty.

I have yet to decide about its fate, but I really like the phone and price/performance is excellent. So I'll probably go with option C, if the situation doesn't get worse over time, because everything else would take too much time and effort.

But some more details on the subject would be nice, as soon as you guys have had the time to analyse the situation. Surely you'll be able to get your hands on at least one of the affected devices.

Cheers,
Ocean

As it so happened that many of the same problem as in this post? The phone is not cheap and sold to marriage. Explain the cause of this phenomenon? I bought two phones and two such screen. On one such phone screen it began after two months of use. Second right out of the box with the screen.

Edited by Avatar_SBV at 2016-11-24 14:55 \n\nI want to know the cause of the spots on the screen. Do not say you need to look at the phone. This is not an isolated case. The reason must be known. Does it make sense to change the screen? Is not there the same spot again. Or, again, money down the drain?Spot appears at all on the same place. It has a regular shape (rectangle). And the same size. It is not an individual problem.
