I am not able to do a OTA firmware update even though it says there is a new update waiting, keeps staying at 0% and my wifi is working fine. Any solution to this problem? Can someone piont me in the direction to download the lastest firmware to that i could transger it to my SD card and do a local update in the mean time? That'll work right?

if your default system language is not English, you have to change it to English before the OTA. When the update is installed you can change the language back from English to your prefered language. I hope this helps.
This works, funny thing is that i did try and update without SIM and SD card when i first got my phone and it did not work, anyway it's done now. Thanks a lot .

Do you have a such and comfirmed experience? That shouldn't be a problem to process the FOTA update while your phone is set to any language.
About the SD card: It can make stuck the update process if your SD card is mounted and formatted as internal storage. If you unmount (Eject) or leave it mounted but format it as external storage, that should be enough to process the update successfully. You don't have to remove the memory card from its slot.

Yes, I did have such an experience. I could download first FOTA but I was unable to install it without changing the system language to English. For the second FOTA I had to change the system language to English even before the download. When the installation was complete I simply changed the language to default (in my case Slovenian).
