I have bought recently an UMI Super, and I received it a few days ago. I have several problems with it:

- The battery doesn't last more than 5-6 hours a day.
- When it's powered on, suddenly it turns off even when the battery level indicator shows 65% to 75% or even more, and sometimes when I start it over, it turns off almost inmmediatly and so on sometimes two or three succesive times until finally I can afford to turn it on.
- I have many problems to catch the cellular signal from my Operator (AT&T). I have tried changing 2G, 3G or 4G and it's very difficult to get the signal.
- When I turn on the wi fi on the smartphone, the cellular signal on both SiMS drops to zero.

Could you help me? Is there a way to get a warranty replacement or repair?

I must state that is not my first Umi smartphone, I have bought before this one an Umi Iron and an Umi Rome X that worked fabulous. I don't know why this one has so many troubles.

Thanks in advance for your valuable comments.

Today I got my UMI Super. And it is a BRICK!!!

Starting the device just the "UMI Link to the world" logo appears for about 30 seconds. Then nothing. After 5 sec again the "UMI Link to the world" logo appears for about 30 seconds. And again, again, and again....

Once I managed to get to the point where Android started. But when I wanted to input my pin code, the touch screen did not respond to any touch.

I switched off. And everything goes as above I wrote: the "UMI Link to the world" logo appears for about 30 seconds. Then nothing. After 5 sec again the "UMI Link to the world" logo appears for about 30 seconds. And again, again, and again....

I waited for 3 weeks for the phone!!! I already contacted the seller here in Hungary, but only after office hours. I will see what to do tomorrow, but I am very, very angry!!!!

Dear jolive57,

We apologize for your inconvenience.
To rule out the possibility of an existing software error, I suggest you to flash your phone with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option in the flasher application. That process will completely rewrite the whole software content of your device. - You will lose your user data.

If that process doesn't solve your problems, I suggest you to contact your reseller for a replacement. They are responsible for your warranty.
I also suggest you to check whether the cellular bands used by your service provider are matched the ones offered by UMI Super.

Regards,
Bence

This sounds like a ROM issue rather than the hardware..
Refresh the ROM and start from scratch, leave it stock for a day or so to see if the issues are still remaining.
Let us know how you get on with it on the forum .

Thanks for your help, but now the most important: how do I refresh the ROM? What is the right ROM version? Is there a tutorial to do so? Where do I get the new ROM?
Thanks in advance.....
