OK ... to much technical for me.

I have bought a SUPER UMI Phone ... and in fact I need, first, re-installed all software ... but It is not sure than the reinstallation solved my problem ...

Sorry Guy I am en End Customer ... I want to use a phone not to be a "Geek" and consume my time to do technical manipulation like this.

What is the solution ?

- An exchange for a new one ?
- Continue to used my phone and have an unsatisfied customer ??

Using SP Flash Tool doesn't need special skills but it has compatible versions for Windows and Linux PC only. No Mac versions are available. I don't have a UMI Super in hand yet, so I can't discover a solution for you by experimentation. As far as I know, no other users have reported a such issue until now.
If your issue cannot be solved by SPFT flashing, you should request a replacement from your reseller. I hope, you can find a Windows machine and an assistive hand somewhere to help you.

My phone comes from UMI OFFICE, the official UMI Store on AliExpress.

I'm apologize but I haven't Windows PC in my near environment and I have no time to loose to experiment this kind of process ... Without warranty.

Customer EXPERIENCE is key now in our life and business.
At the moment mine is not at top level with my new phone.

Google's messenger app didn't work for me, and actually led to some lost messages. Best bet is to reset the app defaults and then use the Messaging app which I assume is made by Umi. I haven't had any issues since.

And ofcourse have the same issue with Google Messanger... Pls do somenthing with it.

Hi yes i have the same issue here too, i think the Meizu mx phones has the same problem.
My phone SIM is not identified correctly in the phone as SIM 1 as previously mentioned.
Please find a fix for this .. the Meizu community found one pretty fast but that does not work for our UMI phones.

**FIX **

To fix this issue open the messenger application
press skip if you can see a picture of a mobile
then top right of the screen click 3 dots
Select settings
DEFAULT SMS APP - select "Messenger" as your default TXT message application.

This should then resolve the problem with SIM selection.

Exit Messenger application and re-open.

After this, i still have message "Not selected preferred SIM" (when i'm trying send a msg).
