When I try format the card to exfat or ntfs the phone says the card is damage and I need to reformat it in the phone, the problem with this is that the phone makes the card a FAT32, and FAT32 is only able to store files up to 4GB.
Any work around for this? I want to use EXFAT or NTFS to store my files..

Dear muspk,

No one of MediaTek based smartphones supports the exFAT file system since MediaTek hasn't licensed it from Microsoft. You can use Paragon exFAT, NTFS & HFS+ to mount NTFS partitions but that's still not able to mount any exFAT partitions.

Bence

Also says this about the Paragon app:
Android 6.0 is not supported due to its even higher security restrictions. See below for details.

I decided to combine the SD-card with the Internal memory, that way you can use files that is bigger than 4 GB.

Yes, it needs root (that will be available later) but anyway will work with UMI Super despite the Android 6 system.
#santastique: The default FAT32 file system that you can use for formatting a memory card in UMI Super (or any MediaTek based smartphone) cannot contain larger than 4GB size files, regardless of the capacity of your memory card. If you format the memory card as internal storage, the internal memory of your phone and the memory card will be combined, you can use them as one storage and you can copy larger files to the memory card since it will be formatted to EXT4 file system.

You can manage that process only with the phone when your card is installed.
1. Go to Settings --> Storage & USB --> Portable storage (your memory card)
2. Tap on the 3-dot menu button at the top left corner and choose Settings
3. Choose 'Format as internal', then follow the instructions.
