HowTo change status bar battery icon to show percentage

It is really simple to change the battery icon in the status bar to show percentage as well, no additional Apps or permissions required. Works out-of-the-box.

Hi,

At UMI Touch you can enable the status bar battery percentage in Settings --> Battery. You don't need to Run the System UI Tuner for that.

thanks a lot for this trick ;) helped a lot..
but is there any way to make battery percentage shown close to battery icon? i mean like on other phones separately from battery icon, not inside it, cause it's kinda difficult to see very small number

maybe 3rd party app can do this, just which one?;/ i saw lot of them, but they placing percentage in wrong place....

To enable System UI Tuner in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, pull down your notification shade and long-press on the Settings gear icon for up to 5 seconds. Once you let go, you should see a pop-up with the message “Congrats! System UI Tuner has been added to Settings.” And as that message suggests, you can head into settings, scroll to the bottom, and find an option for System UI Tuner.

Where? All I see is the toggle for "Standby intelligent power saving". Then menu only expose "Battery Saver" and "Battery Optimization".

you must pull down the notification bar 2x and then press on the "cog" simbol for 5 seconds then release the finger.

The new option should appear itself on the definitions menu...
