Hello,

It is the second time now that my phone connects to the internet and charges me money when I have "Data connection" disabled.

I'm even connected to my Wi-Fi at home and yet still it connects through Data and I get charged for it.
Under "Data usage" when I go to my provider it shows that different system services (with the android icon) have connected.

I can list some of them:

SysStats ... 9.43 KB

Media ... 260 B

Google Services ... 298 KB

Android OS ... 735 KB

I haven't found any other option other than "Data connection", which is already disabled.

Hi there,

Some mobile data traffic still can be processed via 4G and location services. So my suggestions is to
1. Go to 'Settings --> More --> Cellurar networks --> Preferred network type' and set it to 3G or 2G.
2. Go to 'Settings --> Location --> Mode' and select 'Device only'. Or you can even turn off the location service if you don't need it.

Regards,
Bence

I was using my UMI Touch for about a year. It was maybe ok for it's price but had the following issues:
1. Quite low speaker's volume so occationally it was difficult to hear person I was speaking with
2. Screen had a minor defect - there was an area on screen which was brighter
3. Wi-Fi reception was poor compared to my old phone (Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo)
4. Sometimes it was loosing GPS sygnal so navigation program was often pointing me to the wrong direction
And few other minor issues.
I've now decided that there were too many issues with this phone and bought other brand's device.
